Berger Harris Attorneys Attend CREFC Conference

Berger Harris attorneys Michelle Quinn, Jack Harris and Buddy Berger attended the annual January Conference organized by the CRE Finance Council January 13-15 in Miami, Florida.

CRE Finance Council (CREFC) is a trade association organized to promote the strength and liquidity of commercial real estate finance around the world. CREFC engages in advocacy, sets market standards and educates market participants.  CREFC’s January Conference is one of the largest gatherings of professionals in the commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) industry in the United States. Representatives from regional and national law firms, banks, real estate investment companies, and other interests will be in attendance.

Berger Harris attorneys have a great deal of experience with the drafting and issuance of Delaware opinions required in commercial real estate transactions and other business arrangements, including investment fund, joint venture and structured finance transactions. Our attorneys have opined on such issues as due formation and authorization, nondissolution, authority to file bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and secured credit under the Delaware UCC in hundreds of transactions.  Opinions issued by Berger Harris have been issued to and on behalf of national and international investment companies, banks and other lenders, borrowers, rating agencies, and government and quasi-governmental authorities.
