John G. Harris

John G. (“Jack”) Harris is a co-founder of Berger Harris. He has extensive experience counseling and litigating on behalf of clients in complex commercial, corporate and real estate matters in the federal and state courts and, in particular, the Delaware Court of Chancery. Within these general areas, Jack has developed particular expertise in suits involving the operation and interpretation of partnership agreements and limited liability company operating agreements.

Before co-founding Berger Harris, Jack was a partner with Reed Smith, an international Amlaw 100 firm, and Riley Riper Hollin & Colagreco, where he headed-up the Delaware litigation practice. Earlier, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William L. Witham, Jr. of the Superior Court of Delaware, as well as the Honorable George L. Seltzer of the Superior Court of New Jersey.

Jack is active in the local civic community. Among other non-profit leadership positions, he serves on the Centreville School Board of Directors and was a board member of Junior Achievement of Delaware.
